My 19 year old son was looking over my shoulder as I was watching the video, he says "Dad, you gotta getta life", obviously, we don't have the same hobbies.

I really enjoyed that, very well done.

Beverly,

I have watched it three times now and absolutely love it. I think you picked the perfect song and did an awesome job of matching it to the video (like the clownfish 'shaking hands'). Now I'm wondering what I'm doing wrong with my video compression - you just shouldn't be getting clearer video with your camera than I am with a camcorder ?!
Last but not least.. the snail shot at the end was awesome. Infact, I can't think of any Hollywood film that wouldn't have been better if it had ended with three snails slowly turning in opposite circles.

Ready for the sequel,

- Chad

Chad,

Watched your video about six times just now looking for ways to improve video quality. Don't know how these factor into quality, but I would remove all other light from the room other than the light over the tank. I'm thinking there may be shadows and bright spots of ambient light on the tank glass affecting quality. Could be wrong, though.

Also, I used a tripod for most of the video I shot, so the camera was more or less stationary, or it was being supported by the tripod as I moved the camera around. And I moved the camera slowly so the frames were possibly not as blurry as if I had moved it quickly.

Actually don't know how you could change the capture settings since I don't use that feature. Maybe experiment with various settings until you find what works best.

Or, maybe you've got to get an Olympus C-5050 digicam like mine

Thanks for your help and inspiration Am in the process of making another video, but it's not reef related. I don't know if I have enough of a variety of livestock to do another reef video of similar quality.
