I used the same one I always have. Its also similar to the silicone used to do the seams. I,m hoping it will be fine?

Hey, that's cool! Does the glue actually coat the aragonite or does it still maintain its proper texture?

No it does not coat it. The surface retains the same texture. I just spread the silicone on the acrylic and then poured the gravel on and rub it in, over and over. No silicone was applied over the top.

One of my new frags.

I like the sandbed idea, I saw online awhile ago someone that did the same thing but then they covered the top of the sandbed with clear acrylic and then mounted it underneath the tank, which didn't look bad either and it never gets dirty that way

Here is the best I can do so far. I had double this amount of rock in there at first. Never liked that, so removed it today. Plus I removed my Kole and copperband. Not sure if I will put them back or sell them. Just my 3 percs and 3yr. old mandarin in there now.

Tank is only 3/4 full. Bucket on the left is currently doing the filtering.
