MOst dog people do what their dog is bred to do. Like mine, Hunting dog most my time is spent with other hunters training. Josh well looks like he has some sort of pulling dog so well you know what that dog will be doing. What kind of dog is that by the way. Heinz 57 or pure?

I guess having a golden retriever means I like to go running in the fields, catching balls/sticks/whatever else is thrown, and swimming? I never would have figured

Great looking dog Josh, what got you thinking about getting a Shiba?

We've known a couple that have bred them for quite awhile and i just liked them. Good dispositions, hardy tough little dogs etc...also relativly uncommon.

Also wanted to run her in agility competitions when shes grown a little, depending how she takes to it

I said most people. You probaly bought your dogs for a family pet not a working animal. I mean sure mine is a pet but she earns her food every day.

Must've been a sale on Shiba Inus. I saw two in the neighbourhood the other day. Not the most common dog. Yours is a beauty, I usually only see them with red hair.

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't all of the Japanesse breeds originally bred to fight?
