![]() Curious has anyone had these banded coral shrimp with any other shrimp like a peppermint or a cleaner shrimp O.K? Or will they kill all other shrimps?

![]() I was told not to mix banded coral shrimps with others by a number of LFS. I haven't tried it personally brcause I believe that they would kill othe types of shrimp.

![]() Yeah I was also told by most fish stores that Coral banded shrimp are bad to add with other shrimps.
Although I have read that you can house with other shrimps if it is a larger tank & has alot of live rock. So I was wondering if any one has tried this theory and what the outcome was or is? I will ask Guysmiley...thanks |

![]() It probably helps if the coral banded is smaller than the other shrimp as well.

![]() My CBS seems to behave.
He lives with a skunk cleaner. I think CBS are actually a cleaner shrimp and I caught him cleaning my sailfin tang once. He does do a lot of posturing when my hand is near him, or if a fish gets in close. I don't think he has killed any fish, but I am sure he had snacked on some dead/dying ones. |
