![]() The rating for the 240/3 is ideally for a fish only or tank with LPS. the tunze rep in the States does not recommend the 240/3 for a SPS tank over 150 to 180 gallons.

![]() if i run it there will be a float switch in the sump to have a constant level of water.
mike p.s just read your pm so the model sits up 13" and suck water from the sump up to the skimmer is that what you are talking about

![]() The skimmer itself is only about 10" high. The stand increases the height to about 13". If using the stand you need a sump water level of around 5-7".
