I painted my floor with an epoxy. Looked pretty and wiping up spills was so easy.

Plunb it into your sink drain then almost foolproof for a flood

Floor drain is nice but unless there's already one good luck not a easy install. I ran 3 new 15amp breakers for lots of power also if one breaker goes for some reason it does not shut everything down.main return is on its own plug so it never stops.
