I was looking forward to a Calgary ------Detroit, series. Bring it on.

I have been a Red Wings fan since the 60,s but also have a preference for this years teams from Canada, who ever they are.

Sheeeeeez, I was even cheering for Montreal last night. Cant remember when I have done that. They were always my teams, {Detroit} worse enemy.

My only beef with the high sticking call was that Cooke was carrying the puck into the attacking zone... and imo, Cooke was the only Canuck player on the ice that was playing with some heart.

Overall, the ref'ing this series was horrid because of the inconsistency. I wish the ref's were accountable for bad calls as well. But oh well, I am just a fan with season tickets, what I want really doesnt matter to the league

Oh, like I said, Calgary deserved this series win. They simply wanted the win more then the Canucks. I feel the Canucks have a more skilled lineup, but the majority of our team played like they were defeated before the series even started. Sutter outcoached Crawford as well.

hehe - who thinks it could be a montreal vs. calgary final?!?! hehehe.

Well said ! ... we will see if injuries will play a part in the next round ... this is the playoffs and the regular season dont mean spit but if we can put a fairly healthy squad on the ice I think we can compete with any team in this league ... there are some key players banged up right now and we will see if the troops remaining have the heart to kick it up a notch against Detroit ... personally I think that Sutter has them thinking they are 10 feet tall and can beat anyone on any night ... bring on the Wings !

MAN - I thought my heart was gonna stop in the 3rd period tonight against Detroit! That was a little too tense.

Nice win, though!

(yeah, yeah, I know that the Canucks are old news and most people outside of Calgary don't care what about the Flames anymore, but it's still good hockey!)

Go FLAMES!!

No freakin' doubt! I didn't catch the game and I was nearly passing out waiting for CBC.ca to load, I was so scared.

And ka-THUMP! Man, you could sure see that 3rd Detroit goal coming, the way we were running around in our own end.

Ah well, now that both shoes are off we can dance.
