this is what I did , I ran a single kessil on my tank 36x24x14t and it worked just fine . Then cut out my tek fixture and stripped it down to a 2 bulb , cut a hole in the tek light for my kessil to sit in . Went with 2 ati actinics and its the best light I have used for color and growth . Best of both worlds and then bulb changes only cost $40 , you get the led color with t5 coverage . So you could grab a 360w and use your tek light and that would be more than enough IMO
