Here's a couple pics. the body has been blacked out with vinyl and the pump intake has a screen to keep snails out of the impeller. Also has factory supplied tension lock mod. I also utilized the skimmer cup drain so would have to drain a 2 litre bottle on the floor every couple months

Very low maintenance works awesome, just changed brands to try something new. Once a month i would clean the screen (wedding veil), every few months would clean the collection cup and once every six months would take the body out to clean the inside. Thats IT!

If you dont like the black, it can be peeled off in minutes and the screen can be removed in seconds. I would honsetly leave them because it makes this a very easy to maintain skimmer
