Actually, flowerpots are hard enough to keep (not what you wanted to hear, right)
 & I found that when clowns host in a coral, that coral often stops opening up fully & slowly deteriorates. It's fine in tough stuff, like leathers, but I wouldn't risk it with a flowerpot. Again, just my $.02.
