Default subwoofers indoors

I have this 10" 'sub from my car, I bring it in for the winter, don't like pounding them when it's cold out.. does anyone have any ideas how I can power this thing without frying it or an amp? some company out there must make 120v stand alone amps for hometheatre subs that aren't too expensive, you can buy the self powered subs for ~300 for a half decent one.

Any suggestions? It seems a waste to have a sub and NOT use it!

**NOTE**
I don't intend on using this near my fish, incase anyone was worried!
