Even though I am sad the fish died, I may seem rude, but my feeling is that the force feeding directly caused the death of the fish. One normally should not be concerned that newly purchased fish does not eat. One should leave it be for awhile to give it a chance to adjust. The torture you subjected it to killed it, period.
Yes of course you will say I am a b***tard for saying that, but that is my honest feeling.
