![]() You could just try another melanurus wrasse. Might get lucky that next one wont eat your critters. Or you could try a red-lined wrasse(H. biocellatus) or christmas wrasse(H. claudia).

![]() I would have loved to take it off of your hands if only I was driving through sooner. I used to have an Ornate Wrasse that was the same way before it found a gap in the screen tank top. Shrimp and crabs are eel food IMO. I haven't owned any in about 6 years.
