No the stripes go up and down. It's ok I talked to the seller they said they remember the crab and its reef safe that all their cleaning crews r reef safe. Thanks for caring. I gotta figure out how to post pics. Another thing I have t5's Ho. How are leds compared to them. I have a 90gal with fish anemone and a few corals.

I wouldn't put a strange hermit in my tank. Even at best, all hermits are only reef-safe-ish with Scarlet Hermits being the lesser of the evils.
