Default Sea Hare

Anyone use one for hair algae removal? Some other local reefers have had great success with then. I am nervous about thier toxic issues if one dies. Anyone have one die? What happened?

Thanks

I had one stuck (dead) in a power head. Nothing noticable to note on toxins but I think it should be added to the stinky dead thing thread.

Thanks Kari, I am still not sure if to add one yet. Still waiting to see if what I have done to fight the hair algae is going to work. I would like to find the cure to the bloom first. Good to hear nothing else was killed.

I've had 4 in my life. Never had any problems with them poisoning my tank. But they won't live long. All 4 of mine died at exactly 3 weeks, each time I added one. And stupid me kept buying them. I won't evr buy them again. but they are damn cool.
