I believe manufacturers such as Apex, Vortech and Kessill have MAP pricing which does not allow authorized sellers to discount the pricing.

.....which is why the Canadian pricing for the Apex is similar to the US pricing.

It has been on sale before, however I bought what I wanted anyway, just didn't save the 10 bucks. No biggie.

It's not so much that it's regulated like ecotech is......it's just they are priced about as low as they can go thers not much mark up on Neptune items like really not much at all from cost

Ya, the market is tight. Even if it was on sale, would have saved enough for a couple lattes, it's only money!
