![]() Hey I would like to try making an automatic water change system using a unit like a litermeter 3 but can't seem to find them anywhere in canada. Does anyone know of anyone that carries one or has a unit similar that I could use for this project?
Thanks |

![]() I have done many water change systems. You can make one with two cheap Maxi jet pumps. You can use two timers set to the same amount of time and put one in your sump and one in the new water. Stagger the timers a bit so they don't come on at the same time. I have since abandoned this because doing a water change takes little time with the way I do it and it's less room for error

![]() Check out these pumps:
http://www.stenner-pumps.com/?gclid=...FZFefgodUL4AjQ I got the dual head, 100 gpd one that'll be controlled by my Apex, but you can get much smaller ones. The dual head pumps make sure you don't get variation between your out put and input. I did order mine out of the states, (it's been a while) but I don't remember the charges being too outrageous. |
