![]() There are severe diminishing returns when it comes to adding a skimmer to a super small tank. Just do 90% water changes.

![]() No, all of the bacterial ecology that keeps your tank stable remains exactly where you left it -- In the rockwork, substrates and any media you are using. The idea that water carries some sort of "stabilizing" bacteria is anecdotal wuju juju
