![]() While I won't be at this frag swap, I thought I would just throw out some caution about AEFW. That has always been my biggest fear, and hope everyone is aware of not only dipping and prevention with corals brought home, but also safe handling and display at a frag swap.
Personally, I would not buy an SPS frag from a community frag rack. I much prefer to see corals kept in bags in a community tank. Of course private tanks there with known sources of the frags are OK. And when you bring them (SPS) home, snap them off the plug and dip them. I also QT any corals that I buy and dip a few times just to be extra safe. Hope you guys, Albert and Thomas, do whatever you can there to promote safe reefing. This is a great hobby, and hate to see people shut down tanks due to AEFW, or any other pest related frustration. And it is bad business for LFS's if people leave the hobby.
