Default MH over Freshwater?

I have seen it done but, one thing you must concider if you are going to use that much light you will also need to firtalize heavy and inject co2 as with that much light available the plants will suck up the food fast and enuf of what they need will not be available..

Default MH over Freshwater?

Has anybody ever used MH over a freshwater tank? After much debate, I've decided to turn my spare 50gal into a freshwater system instead of selling it. I figured I might as well use my currently inactive 175w MH with my 10k Crapolife (Coralife) bulb, but I'm not sure how the plants are going to respond to it. Thanks in advance
