![]() I will sometimes use h2o2 to dip a piece of rock i can remove or a frag if it has algae on it. For that, i use a 1:1 ratio. Take a toothbrush to scrub anything off. Also works great for hair algae. You can get h2o2 at a pharmacy. I use 3%.

![]() My skimmer does a good enough job. It takes in water from the surface and releases bubbles at the surface.

![]() Just monitor your fish. Doesn't hurt to throw in an air pump but i don't think you'll need it.

![]() So looks like its under control, cutting down the photo period by 2 hours helped huge. I notice at the end of the day it starts to come back but then the lights go down and its fine. Just have to be patient i guess! Thanks for the help everyone!!!

![]() FYI, hydrogen peroxide breaks down in to oxygen and water. It's sometimes used to oxygenate tank water in power outage emergencies. It also breaks down pretty rapidly, so there's not a whole lot for the skimmer to remove.
