Default 3% Hydrogen Peroxide

I use 3% Hydrogen Peroxide to rid my tank of hair Algae. A guy told me to put the rock or coral into a bowl and, add some tank water till the item is just covered. The recipe he told me to use was 2 ounces of HP to every cup of tank water used to cover the item. Let it sit for 10 mins then brush of the hair algae with an old toothbrush, dip it back into the recipe and repeat using new water and HP, but only let it sit for a couple of minutes, then brush off again. Finally rinsing in just your tank water. Add to tank. Hair algae never came back

It never harmed my zoas that were on the rock that I dipped, but I do not want to be responsible for any adverse reaction, so do your own resaearch, before doing it

Has anyone else used this method?
