If you have not gone yet, Green Lettuce in Surrey, 72 Ave and 120th st. SE corner.
Chinese with a little east Indian flavour of course.

It's been ages since I've been to Surrey. However; "Lee Yuen" or "Lee Yuen Seafood Restaurant" has very good traditional 'comfort' Chinese food. Service and decor aren't mind blowing but the restaurant is clean and food is good.
