For me a 3rd option would be video that includes macro and full tank view.
videos shows the depth of a tank and it's surrounding.
But to answer the above question I do prefer the full shot.

For me, its the full tank shots

After all, that is what I spend the most if my time looking at (at least with my tank).

Need a fts for sure but Ussually don't get to see the hidden gems so need macros

I love FTSs as I enjoy seeing beautiful aquascapes,but I do like macro shots as well.

I love the macros, but without context (the FTS) I find they lack something. So I'm a fence sitter on this one. Need both
