I old and close mine under running water for a few minutes and they move like new. Too bad the blades are crazy dull now though. Had to do some wiring recently and I swear scissors would have worked better!

B) Spend more than $7 on a set... C) Did you bury them in the back yard over winter or something?

I just used CLR!!!
I just did that on two sets. Sat them in a bowl for a while. They come back to life! Neat idea though.

drop of olive oil on the hinge. Works great, reef safe. Been using the same cutters now for 20 years. And, if I ever eat them, they'll taste good and provide lots of iron.
