That is strange!
 Had LEDs, they burnt out so I am using Aquanova T5 fixtures, 2 white bulbs and 2 blue bulbs as well as an additional royal blue LED light strip (used for night/fluorescence doesnt really change the colour much when the other light is on). Perhaps it is just taking its sweet time getting used to your tank?
