![]() Hey guys,
I found a bunch of tiny snails in my tank today. They are all stuck on the glass wall. They are so tiny I can't really take a picture of them. They are about 1 mm in size or smaller. Circular spiral shells. I can easily see 150+ of them. Some of them are super stuck to the glass I have 2 Tubo snails in my tank. Is it possible that they spawned? Does anyone have any thoughts on what these could be? Should I try to manually remove them before they spread? Or are these healthy snails that I should keep ? Thanks Last edited by Mahawka; 04-02-2014 at 01:16 AM. |

![]() Colonista snail. Completely harmless but can multiply fast if food source is available

![]() I have lots of these for quite a long time. Never, in my estimation, too many.
They are part of a cleanup crew, but will happily munch on algae on my glass as well. Could be unsightly to some, but I like them. lol |

![]() If there stuck on they can also be spiral worms , harmless little filter feeders.

![]() they are not worms for sure. It's a shell.
Thanks for all the info. I will keep them in my tank. |
