Default How Much Have you spent

How Much Have you spent on your nano reefs. I am building a 7 - 10 gallon ano reef for a friend here. Looking to see what people have spent on their set ups. Could you tell me what you have done with it. Now i dont want a over the years total i would like a total of all the thing running living, or in your tank now. Thank you

So far my 3.5 gallon at home has about $150 into it before livestock.

3.5g Tank $14
PC lighting for tank $50
PC lighting for refugium $50
Heater $36

I already had the Aquaclear 500 that I used for the refugium. $0

Hmmm, lets see...

$170 tank
$150 plumbing
$175 stand
$320 lighting
$100 sump
$375 chiller/heater

total $1290 for a 16 gal bow, mh lighting. Keep in mind you also need water (DO NOT USE TAP!! Edmonton water stinks!) and salt, salt is $$$. Live rock also adds up really fast. Just think about 1 - 2 lbs of it per gallon, and about $10 a pound. So... a 7 gal would cost about $100 in rock alone. Be careful not to under budget like I did... Better to be safe than sorry!
