I think it's just a new wave of beta testing. About two months ago I would get five, then as soon as I got rid of them, five more, and this continued for a few weeks. Then for a month I got none. Now I've started to get them again. I expect they'll email all the users when it goes public and within weeks we'll see the servers slow down noticeably.
