![]() remember, 10 gallons of water is 100lbs. Not including the tank, rock, sand, etc.
With those peg legs, I would be hesitant, but as long as it's dead center so the legs take up equal amount of weight, I wouldn't see it as an issue. I have a 77g on a Ikea dresser that I converted into half storage/half sump area. I reenforced it, and it works well, but it always concerns me. Anytime I hear a crack or a creek, I dart up and check. It doesn't help that I have a pistol shrimp in the tank.. |

![]() I've had my 46 bowfront on a piece of ikea furniture for over a year now. Even had a couple spills, it's still solid. I trust it completely.

![]() My 45G came with a "Ikea" Stand. Laminate covered Particle board. I even pulled the center support out to put a sump in. All was good. Had some spills in the sump, and it did swell a little but never affected strength. I had the tank for 4 years before I sold it to a fellow Canreefer who AFAIK still has

![]() I'd be more concerned about the little legs than the stand itself. As has been mentioned already, most aquarium stands from big box fish stores are nothing more than MDF and laminate.
