been using it for 2 years+.l added a booster pump on it a couple of months ago for around $80.no problems with it

How often do i need to replace my filters? Should I get some spare ones while i get free shipping ?

I've had several RO and RO/DI systems over the years (3 hooked up right now) and I don't think I will ever get another that doesn't have a boost pump. The Vertex Deluxe Puratek has definitely been my favourite with it's auto flushing and other bells and whistles.
I can understand that you're on a budget but the time and water you'll save is worth the extra money. |

Yes you will be good for awhile. You can always buy a TDS meter and test your water with the new filter and down the road once it starts to differ from original reading change filters
