![]() No Kidding!! what does a Di bag cost to refill? 9.99 from BRS? 13.99 from J&L? hardly seems worth it to go through all that trouble when you can just empty the canister, and replace it with a 13$ bag of nuclear grad DI....... not sure why you would want to play with Muratic acid and stuff, indoors, let alone with out a respirator on. To each is own i guess... |

![]() The lye solution is basic. And the muriatic acid is of course acidic. They will neutralize when mixed together. When cleaning up mix everything together.
Me personally I like to tinker with things. So when I see something that can easily be done at home and prevent more stuff going to the landfill and safe some money too. I'm willing to try it. My tds out of the tap is around 230. So I'm using about a pound of resin per 2 months or so.

![]() lol ok i just realized we're talking about di resin! all this time i was thinking gfo! yeah there's no way i'd bother recharging di resin. i'm out good luck =)
