![]() I guess it depends on your preference and tank location set-up. In my case, I have traffic on both sides of my tank, where an outside pump could get bumped if it sticks out too far. Plus it would be a target for kids to grab incl the cords. The inside cords blend in pretty good with the tank, and even have coralline on them. And they don't make any noise.
