As long as your emergency drain in higher than both drains,that is good.
your main drain should and looks like it is lower than than your secondary drain and I don't see air intake to it a it needs it unless its fully opened.
your return line when ready I would face it flowing towards the lengh of your tank as one blow or a spray bar style hoovering almost under your water main tank.
Silicone work looks sloppy hoping its good with no leeks.
Union on main drain is useless if adjustments is needed when testing.
I would have use gate valves never ball valves as they are really pain to work with.
Last is test your lines by filling the tank and test for leeks and proper drains.

You've got an interesting stadium rim on your tank. Can't say I've ever seen that before.
