Pump wise it does not look any different, only reason I went with the diabo was availability, little better warranty

I went with a Speedwave DC-2640 for my return, works great. The Wavelines weren't available at the time I was looking.

Running a DC10000 on my 165 for over a yr now, power supply crapped out 4 months ago and the flow rate is not as high as spec's but I still like the pumps so much that I will be running 4 of the DC10000 as my returns on the new 300 but not WaveLine's went with SpeedWaves. Also going to be running 2 - DC5000 for my chiller, reactors & my 60 gal seahorse tank.

I also have one of the new WaveLine DC10000II that was sent to me by a top gun at WaveLine from China free of charge for the power supply warranty issues.

I think the Gen. 2 versions are 6000 & 12000 l/hr

Gen. 1 versions are 5000 & 10000 l/hr

2nd (well, 2nd, 3rd & 4th? - I have 3) for the SpeedWave DC2640. I have 1 for my return, 1 closed loop, and a third utility (frag tank, water change/separation tank, zeovit reactor, calcium reactor).

crazy quiet, no vibrations, all around good fun.

Diablo, SpeedWave, Waveline, even the Jebao one just coming out -- I don't think you can go wrong!
