Thumbs up Potter's Angel (Centropyge potteri).....

One of my favourite Pygmy Angelfish. "Reef Safe with Caution"; I've had this specimen for years. The only coral nipping that has occurred is with 'freshly' cut flesh from new frags or injured corals. Overall; it hasn't been curious with LPS, SPS, or clams. Each individual fish's demeanour will vary.

Eh.....Apparently it's not about the size it's how you use them (or so I've been told) . You're a special case - you have SO much eye candy; an angel like this would be in Nirvana.....too much temptation to nip. I'll bet $ you'll have another display soon. lol

It's a tough call for this genus of pygmy angels. Each pygmy angel has its own personality. Some people have had great success with Potter's; some not. The same can be said for Flame angels.

I admit I'm lucky though (so far). Knock on wood.

I love this small angel too! I also had one a couple of years ago that didn't nip on corals much. It even lived with a flame angelfish without issue.

Beautiful fish and great pic. They are indeed my favorite. One reason there is a 120 lbs of rock going in my new 50g.
