i have found max cycle to be 1.1-1.4 sec
However. I have a controller that has a defective knob so no matter where it is the cycle time on it is around 2.2 If it would make life easier i can send it out to you (i just need to wait for new shipment as i need to replace it with new controller). Let me know if interested and you can have it if you pay the shipping. I will pop it open to make sure nothing is burnt out and that they just missed hooking up dial/hooked timer/relay up wrong.

You know that might work out well, thanks Nick! I might order up some more food too -- my fish are loving the soft pellets I got from you in August with the pumps. I'll give you a call Thurs/Friday
