Would you like to see a public aquarium in Edmonton ?

What do the members of Canreef think of Edmonton getting a public aquarium ? An actual good one that shows its self in a respectful and proud fashion, something perhaps a bit better than the "aquarium" at West Edmonton Mall.

As a tax payer... I already get dinged for enough.

And I doubt an individual will fork over the hundreds of thousands to do it correctly themselves.

So yes. It would be great. But I don't see it happening anytime soon.

You know what's mean though. The city is still "looking for " 100 million for a rink. That will end up costing me while the rich get richer.

But in principle we agree that there is an opportunity for a public aquarium in Alberta.
