![]() Another possibility is the camera is focusing on the glass, which is why the closer ones turned out better. I haven't cleaned it for a couple days, and might be some bits of algae on it.
This camera can be put underwater, and maybe that would make for better focusing, too. But I didn't want to do that, if I was contemplating returning it.
