Find the bulb you like, and run two of them. Worked just fine for me. 50/50 would work - I and others have had good results with the GE 9235K 55W bulbs.
If you move to a 50 gallon tank, you can fit 2 of these fixtures over it, and then mix-and-match bulbs without the obvious effects.
