Did you glue the monticap up top like that? Or how did u get it to stick. Mine seems to grow too much outwards and I'm forced to chop it down yearly as it shades too much of my other corals.

It's just been growing up on the back of the tank like that for the past 3 years. It started on the rock in the middle at the back, it seam to grow up and out. I prune it about ever 3 months.
