Default Finally got the approval to leave my jail cell

*first aid room

got the ok to go back to work starting tuesday

beats sitting in a first aid room 10hrs a day

now to prove that its possible to fabricate while on crutches with a broken leg

thought actually crossed my mind to build a "support" with a hinge at the knee so i can walk without crutches

Guy here in town did that a few years ago when he broke his leg on ice but quickly discovered that the hinge didn't support very well and tended to lock in place due to the material he used he never did improve on it though

for me the hinge part is easy, i have access to all the fancy materials and equipment, my issue is is all the muscle damage to my leg so i wouldnt want to have anything clamped to my thigh or calf.... not to mention my broken fibula

right now my thigh and calf feel like i took a good beating with a baseball bat

Just be glad you didn't have to fabricate a prosthetic arm like this guy at Dynamic Welding and Engineering in Tasmania did.
