I have the same anemone here in Calgary and have always wondered if it was a bubble or long tenacle???? Depends on the day it's a 50-50 with that thing what it looks like today. FYI mine is super friendly in the aquarium, it isn't sticky and only eats what I feed it...

Ya, it's crazy...I've noticed that after feeding is when she most looks "puffy" and bubble tip like. Sometime today/tomorrow she'll thin out and the tentacles elongate.

http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/rd...964414881.html

Then there's this guy with a craigslist posting who confuses the ID issue cuz they sure look like mine.

I would probably say this is a RBTA, I have the same, and are pretty much identical to the craigslist post, but not all RBTA's "bubble". and LTAs seem to have different characteristics than BTAs in general (That is assuming yours is the same as mine).

Id say bubble tip as well, they only bubble under certain conditions, they can still be healthy and happy without the appearance of bubbles.
