here's the major tropical diseases known in Cuba. (rest of Carribbean similar). Some are mosquito borne. Used to work in science on mosquito borne diseases. Sounds a bit like some kind of virus, may or maybe not mosquito borne. Could be anything though really.

I say the same thing about Vegas been there 8 times and been sick every time I come back but in my case its the cigarette smoke down there that gets me just walking through the casinos is enough to murder my throat thankfully I don't gamble so never have to stay on the floors too long. I've lost my voice 3 times and swollen throat every time and Dr. Tells me its the smoke irritating my throat.

But I am a sucker for punishment going back this fall got more shows to see and shopping to do. It's funny I don't drink, smoke, gamble and here I go to a city where all are heavily prevalent
