Default BTA propogation project

Is this a viable project? Does anyone have experience or information they could point me to?

I'm looking to do something large scale enough to regularily stock the nicer strains of this animal (at least 2-3 a month).

Thanks in advance,

Albert

You might ask Carpentersreef (Mitch). He seems to pump them out without trying too hard...

Heh...yeah, it seemed like it would never end...but then I cut my feeding and water changes way back.

Keep them well lit (quality, not quantity), well fed, with a LARGE variety of quality foods, alternating moderate water flow and lots of rock for them to regulate their own light and water flow exposure. Water changes seemed to trigger a split.

Good luck.

Mitch

I water change 20% every two weeks, and no splits.

However, on the rare occasion I have done 50% water changes, twice in a row, I have had splits.

Hey thanks for all the tips guys. I think I might just start this up in the next couple of weeks (after I'm done renovating my room anyway).
