If you're going to go SPS, I'd do a 4 or 6 bulb fixture personally. With your width I think you'll be looking at a 4 bulb T5.

How are your handy skills? If you're up for it, you could build yourself a pair of 100W LED multichip pendents for about $65 ea. Just sayin'...
