Just rechecked and no Rona does not carry the plastic chicken line. BRS is also $20 in fees for a $9.99 piece. Would prefer local but I will go through them if I can't locate it otherwise.

As far as I know Home Hardware has only the grey stuff, but it's so fine I doubt clear would make any difference. The squares are just under 1/2" so it's worked great for me so far.

Also go to the garden centres they have fine mesh that can be both easy and a pain to work with

Any craft store. Its called wedding mesh I think. Its clear fine mesh.

I got some from Michaels in Red Deer

Thanks for all the advice and a bigger thanks to MadReefer & TheCodFather (Bob) for offering to ship me some at no charge.

Kinda puts that "Canreef is full of meanies" thread to shame .

That being said I found a suitable mesh @ Skyline fabrics for extreamly cheap.

I think my cats scare my fish into staying in the tank at they take turns sitting by the tank day and night

I will be doing alot more yelling if the $500 worth of clownfish I just bought jump outa the tank .

At the moment my tank seriously has less than a half inch water line with no eurobrace... The clowns also host on the lip of the glass to the point where I can poke them in the face 90% of the day!
