![]() thanks guys. yeah i'm really happy with the mix of colours and i've got a little swimming action in all areas of the tank which is nice. It's actually quite a busy little display now and I'm spending far too much time camped in front of it lol.
the squarespot is smaller than my old one but he knows how to pose like a boss that's for sure. i never had luck getting my female to eat in the 400 but this one is a little pig and the male actually followed her example. |

I've been wanting to try some anthias myself but I'm sorta torn on which ones. I like the squarespot (squareback? whatever they're called), I like the lyretails (squamipinnis), I like the bicolors ... well OK I like them all. Hardly ever see the bicolors available though.

![]() I came so close to pulling the trigger on a lyretail pair but had that hard moment with myself where i admitted my tank is already too small to house the squarespots i already have lol. it was right after that moment that i took another gander through the tanks and found black beauty =)
