Hi,
The purpose of Foz Down was to reduce the cost and work associated with removing Phosphates. Quote:
If you would rather not use filter socks then that is your decision. It won't effect your system in a negative way if you don't. I have used Foz Down with out filter socks for several years with no ill effects. Cheers, Tim

This sounds like a great solution but I do not use filter socks either.
So I understand I can still use this product - but how do I export the bound phosphate from my system? Or do I have to? Will the skimmer not eventually take it out or will it all settle to the bottom of my sump and create a different cleaning chore? thanks for your assistance with these questions - it's always great to get the expert's take on things so we can make an informed decision. |
