ok that officially looks delicious. Is the meat easy to get out? All the pictures I've seen is them served with their shells still on.

and fwiw, I don't care much for horse meat. I've unwittingly eaten it twice, and found it rather gamey

just wondering where one would find them for sale in Canada? I go to Kim Phat often and I have seen nothing like that. There are live crabs, lobster, fish but I have never seen any mantis dead or alive?

hehe, all the mantis shrimp that arrive on our shores are sold as pets, there's none left over for the grocery store!
